The idea that inspiration flows down the arm, through the fingers into the brush and somehow the right color lands in the right place is a myth (Durkee, G.A.)
The colors in this are really in harmony. It's so pretty when I clicked on and enlarged it. And you did a great job of fore-shortening the fish on top.
Thanks Sally. I finished this one in my studio, but still is a quick painting. I gave this painting to rase money for the "casa do ardina", which is an institution, a home, for poor and orphan children.
What moves men of genius, or rather what inspires their work, is not new ideas, but their obsession with the idea that what has already been said is still not enough.
